The House just approved my proposal to shed light on conflicts of interest in Congressional hearings. As of today, expert witnesses must report grants they receive from foreign governments, and any legal obligations they have to organizations that they testify about.

 

Hearings are an opportunity to get answers for the American people. We need to know of potential bias that may influence someone’s testimony. No more hiding conflicts of interest or skirting disclosure requirements. Read more about the reforms I pushed >>https://t.co/E0eFGIGPjy
