BIG ADMISSION: The @DHSOIG director just admitted to Congress that there were *no medical professionals* involved in the government's investigation of the untimely deaths of 2 young children in @CBP custody. That investigation found "no misconduct" on the part of border agents.

The director then admitted that having a medical professional on staff would have been helpful to the investigation. @hrw has repeatedly documented horrific conditions in @CBP border jails, including lack of access to clean water, appropriate nutrition, warm clothes or blankets.
