I mean, it’s the bare minimum standard for the military - if they want to act like us, they should be treated as such. It all starts with competent leadership at every level. You fuck that up. That chain breaks.

And as someone who has been in charge. I had NO wiggle room. I was held to account for not only my actions - but every single member under my command. I wasn’t important. I didn’t do important things. But I was held to that same standard as if I were.
