I’m just gonna say, as a person who writes plans on this—in a crisis like this, Congress has one function: to be in Congress so they can pass emergency legislation as needed. They have no functions in home states. No one should be traveling home.

Live on campus. Staff work remote. Skeleton crews for essential maintenance operations.

Project seriousness. Shelter in place. Take ownership. Be leaders.

That so many flew home this weekend will be something we talk about in the future.
