Some notes from inside the chamber as Schiff closed out: —Dem senators lined up one by one to shake Schiff’s hand. Schumer gave him a big bear hug and slapped his back so hard it sounded like someone clapped inside the chamber.

—Manchin was the only Dem senator to approach Trump’s side & shake hands.

—Sekulow approach Schiff, shook his hand briefly and walked away.

—GOP senators didn’t approach either side’s counsel.
