Thread: After the last three painful years of watching our President refuse to defend the United States from Russia, I'm seriously perplexed that the Democratic Party is rejoicing in Bernie Sanders's surge in Iowa. WHAT ARE WE THINKING?

Bernie voted against the Magnitsky Act.
He voted against the 2017 Russian sanctions bill.
He didn't show up for the 2019 Deripaska sanctions vote.

I'm not saying he has the same love for Putin that Trump has, but there's little doubt he's got a soft spot for Russia.
