I was in the courtroom this morning for Jeffrey Epstein's bail hearing when Annie Farmer and Courtney Wild very courageously spoke out.

    Then, into the proceedings, David Boies raised his hand to indicate his client would like to speak and Annie Farmer stood up and so eloquently argued that Jeffrey Epstein was a danger to her when she was 16 and he is a danger to society now and that he must not be granted bail.

    Annie Farmer spoke to me by phone in 2002 to share her story (I met her sister Maria in person) and it was amazing to meet her at last in person.

    It was Bradley Edwards—who I’ve said is an unsung hero in this case ()—who introduced Courtney Wild. It would have been interesting to know what was running through Epstein’s mind at that moment.
    There is an unspoken hero in the Jeffrey Epstein story and I am not seeing him mentioned enough. Bradley Edwards is the lawyer who represented many of Epstein’s victims—some of whom were mentioned in ’s Miami Herald piece.
