At 1:45pm today, the Senate is expected to vote on the confirmation of Steven Menashi to the 2nd Circuit & for a seat once held by Thurgood Marshall.

Menashi’s deeply held beliefs are revealed in offensive writings that denigrade women, callously call claims of racial discrimination overblown, perpetuate dangerous myths about Muslims are evidence of extreme bias & bad judgment.

His work as a lawyer is shocking & disturbing too. As DeVos’ counsel, he led efforts to deny students loan relief, and helped roll back Title IX, deminish protections for students w/disabilities, and further weaken guidance for transgender students.
