Trump Promises a Revelation on Hacking

Wow...this ought to be fascinating.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — President-elect Donald J. Trump, expressing lingering skepticism about intelligence assessments of Russian interference in the election, said on Saturday evening that he knew “things that other people don’t know” about the hacking, and that the information would be revealed “on Tuesday or Wednesday.”
Speaking to a handful of reporters outside his Palm Beach, Fla., club, Mar-a-Lago, Mr. Trump cast his declarations of doubt as an effort to seek the truth.
“I just want them to be sure because it’s a pretty serious charge,” Mr. Trump said of the intelligence agencies. “If you look at the weapons of mass destruction, that was a disaster, and they were wrong,” he added, referring to intelligence cited by the George W. Bush administration to support its march to war in 2003. “So I want them to be sure,” the president-elect said. “I think it’s unfair if they don’t know.”

Trump GOP Pretend They Have Mandate

In 2017, GOP sees mandate to undo Obama's agenda

WASHINGTON -- Republicans’ grip on all levers of power stands as a mandate to the GOP-led Congress, which will move swiftly to try to undo eight years of outgoing President Barack Obama’s agenda.
With Republican President-elect Donald Trump weeks away from assuming office, GOP lawmakers plan to open the 115th Congress on Tuesday and immediately take steps to repeal Obama’s health care law. Beyond that, they’ll look at a tax overhaul, reversing Obama-era environmental regulations and other conservative priorities.
Republicans will face some obstacles. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says Democrats “stand ready to fight vigorously” to protect health care and other priorities, and Republicans will have to compromise with Senate Democrats to move major legislation through that chamber.
A look at what the 115th Congress will be up to in 2017:

The Fable of Edward Snowden

As he seeks a pardon, the NSA thief has told multiple lies about what he stole and his dealings with Russian intelligence.

Of all the lies that Edward Snowden has told since his massive theft of secrets from the National Security Agency and his journey to Russia via Hong Kong in 2013, none is more provocative than the claim that he never intended to engage in espionage, and was only a “whistleblower” seeking to expose the overreach of NSA’s information gathering. With the clock ticking on Mr. Snowden’s chance of a pardon, now is a good time to review what we have learned about his real mission.
Mr. Snowden’s theft of America’s most closely guarded communication secrets occurred in May 2013, according to the criminal complaint filed against him by federal prosecutors the following month. At the time Mr. Snowden was a 29-year-old technologist working as an analyst-in-training for the consulting firm of Booz Allen Hamilton at the regional base of the National Security Agency (NSA) in Oahu, Hawaii. On May 20, only some six weeks after his job there began, he failed to show up for work, emailing his supervisor that he was at the hospital being tested for epilepsy.

Lawrence O'Donnell with Michael Moore

Lawrence O'Donnell with Filmmaker and Political Activist Michael Moore has a POLITICAL wishlist of things that he wants concerned citizens to do with regard to the Trump and the GOP. He encourages democrats to be more vocal and to visit their lawmakers IN PERSON while they are at home on their Christmas Break. He's calling on the Democrats to appoint new and more, more aggressive and likeable leadership. Moore wants Dems to form "Rapid Response Teams" that will activate and get the protest out on Facebook and other venues whenever the GOP makes a stupid move. Moore in the spirit of Christmas is kind enough to sing a Holiday tune.

President-elect Donald Trump on Friday ejected from his West Palm Beach golf course one of his most critical biographers, Harry Hurt III, who had been preparing to play in a foursome with billionaire mega-donor David Koch.
Hurt is the author of “Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump,” a 1993 book that revealed among other things that Trump was accused of “rape” by his ex-wife Ivana Trump in a sworn deposition during their divorce proceedings.

CNN Panel discusses the need for a select committee to investigate Trump's ties to Russia and their interference in the U.S. Presidential election. Kayleigh McEnany was asked why is it that Trump Doesn't Believe That the Russian's Hacked the Election when the ENTIRE Intelligence Community has assessed that claim as fact. Kayleigh offers OLD INFORMATION as a defense and is quickly cut off. Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have called for an investigation and Trump is still feigning concern and meandering along, not really stating a position beyond his previous jab at the CIA on Twitter. Matt Lewis pointed out in the discussion that Trump has never taken a hard line with Russia or Vladimir Putin when he seems to have no problem doing so against China or anyone else. Donald Trump Jr. said in an interview that Russia's Investments in the Trump Corporation are "Substantial" but of course it's impossible to confirm just how substantial since Trump refuses to release his tax returns.

As U.S. Confronts Russia, Trump's Admiration Of Putin Is Consistent

President-elect Donald Trump is unabashedly praising Russian President Vladimir Putin, a day after outgoing President Obama issued tough sanctions against the country in response to alleged cyberattacks intended to influence the U.S. elections.
In a tweet Friday afternoon, Trump responded to Putin's decision not to expel U.S. diplomats from Russia in kind after Obama ordered 35 Russian diplomats to leave the country — admiring the Russian leader's strategic approach over President Obama, which is the theme of Trump's ongoing praise of Putin.
