Donald Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Labor, Andrew Puzder, made
his millions nickel-and-diming fast food workers as the CEO of Hardee’s
and Carl’s Jr. His burger chains stole
wages, forced employees to work through breaks and off the clock, and
even paid their workers less than the minimum wage in some cases. A man
whose companies have repeatedly violated labor laws has no business
running the agency in charge of protecting 150 million American workers.
Yesterday, Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr workers across the country took to
the streets to say NO to Puzder for Secretary of Labor. Watch as I
explain my own concerns about Andrew Puzder at a forum with Hardee’s and
Carl’s Jr workers earlier this week.
